announced
that
Tony
Raines
would
pilot
the
Rhino’s
Energy
Drink
Dodge
Charger
in
both
the
NASCAR
Sprint
Showdown
and
the
NASCAR
COCA-COLA
600.
The
SPRINT
Showdown
will
be
contested
on
May
17th
and
will
run
in
conjunction
with
the
NASCAR
SPRINT
All-Star
Race
at
Lowe’s
Motor
Speedway
in
Charlotte.
Also
at
Lowes
Motor
Speedway,
the
forty-ninth
annual
COCA-COLA
600
will
run
on
May
25th
featuring
a
tribute
to
America’s
Armed
Forces.
Fans
will
have
the
opportunity
to
vote
a
driver
from
the
Sprint
Showdown
race
into
the
field
for
the
NASCAR
SPRINT
All-Star
Race.
EM
Motorsports
driver
Tony
Raines
is
eligible
for
the
fan
vote
based
on
his
finishing
position
in
the
2007
NASCAR
NEXTEL
CUP
Series
point
standings.
Fans
may
vote
for
Raines
on
Sprint
phones
by
texting

following
the
received
directions
(standard
text
messaging

data
rates
apply);
at
participating
Sprint

and

In
1999,
Raines
began
running
the
NASCAR
Busch
Series

Bill
Baumgardner

Raines

sixth
in
the
Busch
Series
standings
while
driving
for
the
BACE
Motorsports
team.
Raines
has

Series
starts
with
14
Top-Five

Top-Ten
finishes

his
credit.

to
the
NASCAR
Sprint
